Horrible Denny's experience with manager
- - Service slow with 1 server and 1 cook for 9 tables.
- - The manager at the cashier did not help, claiming they were unloading a truck on Feb 12 at 5pm.
We went to Denny's after work and they only had 1 waitress and 1 cook. There was 9 tables with customers and although it was slow service and waited awhile for our food it was understandable.
What I am upset about is that the cashier that i thought was a customer at a table ended up being the manager. I asked her if she was the manager why she wasn't helping out instead she was just sitting down and only go up to cashier. She told me she had been unloading a truck but we never saw her get up.
This is not the first time this specific manager just sits there knowing how busy this establishment is. This was on Feb 12 @ 5pm.
Also, sent a email to corporate and got no response.

Unwanted

I am a very hard worker and should be treated more like a valued employee instead of a bother or made to feel as if you were not needed or wanted after the first talk about getting the job is when it was like I felt I wasn't wanted there or needed there

3 it's supposed to reach out to me within 3 to 5 days and still hasn't no one's called

All Most got in fist fight with a drunk guy after waiting for two an hour for curbside service. then the manager decided to cancel my order after stealing my money because he was to busy and he thought my food that I already payed for didn't matter and this drunk person that was being rude to the customers was more important .
Ill never eat there again screw Dennys. And I want my money back they need to give me my money back that they stole from me!

How can we rectify this situation. PSthe food was ok the service was very good.

I used a coupon for a $10 discount. It stated that it was accepted.
But I didn't get the discount.
I tried disputing this at the restaurant, and they didn't help me. They were very rude.

To the Manager in Charge:
I hope you're well. I'm writing regarding my recent large order placed on 06/22/2025.
I went to the restaurant and can say the experience I had was one of the worst, honestly. The girl working was very kind and helpful, but the rest was not so good. Plus, people asking for blues looked like they were under the influence, and there were homeless people hanging out, making it a very uneasy situation. I specifically requested no onions on any of my food due to the fact we are dangerously allergic to onions, and there were onions on there.
The waffles were burnt; they were so black and crunchy. The eggs were undercooked and looked like they were just cracked open. The drink was all over the cup, and I was all sticky just from grabbing the cup.
On top of all that, I literally had to wait for over an hour to even get this food that I couldn't eat, nor could any of my family. I spent close to $100.00, and the entire meal was inedible.
Preferred solution: Full refund
If you want a refund RETURN the food. I would think that if there were onions on the food and you are allergic you would have returned the food. Same with the Burnt waffiles and undercooked eggs.
