On July 4, 2023, at approximately 2:25 a.m., myself and three others entered the Dennys at 11315 Montwood Dr., El Paso, TX 79936. The server/owner (Chris) handed us the menus and asked us to sit wherever we liked.
After about 25 minutes of waiting for the ONLY server at the restaurant another customer who had arrived just 10 minutes prior shouted and motioned to the server to come to their table, which the server did and took their drink order. Since my party of 4 had been waiting for 25 mins without any type of service I got offended that the server first attended the other guest who came after us. I went and got the servers attention and asked him if he was the only server. He replied that he was the only server.
I explained we had been waiting for 25 minutes and it seemed the restaurant needed more staff. The server said that if we didnt like it we could leave. I said we were leaving but I needed the managers name. He replied that we could get the managers name later.
I insisted I wanted his name and his managers name, and he said, My name is Chris, *** you get out of my store. I replied, No *** you, you will hear from me. He said, *** you, what are you going to do about it, lets take it outside. I replied lets go.
He then walked away and we left the restaurant.
In my 62 years I have never been treated like this from any establishment and especially from an alleged owner/franchisee of a national chain.
He sounded so thuggish. I am just in disbelief.

On 02/18/2023 I ordered the Chicken/Biscuit Bowl at 8:21 p.m., from the local Dennys; # 7680
4365 University Ave., San Diego, Ca. 92105.
Their phone number is: 619-280-****. I ordered my meal to go, and immediately brought it home, which I live only 1 block away. I've saved the receipt. The server was: Teresa A, the order #: 552387.
I paid for the meal, and tipped $2.00, on my Visa card. The total with the tip was: $17.82. I definitely need you to know that I had not eaten anything all day. Thank goodness I only ate 1/4 of this meal!
I state that because immediately after eating the small portion of food, I had at least 3 back to back diarrhea episodes! I then took Imodium AD for the diarrhea. The following day I still had 2 bouts of diarrhea. Again, I took Imodium AD.
Recently on our news, there's been important mention of a hepatitis A outbreak! It wasn't until Monday till I started to feel good enough to eat solid foods again. So your aware, I have frequently ordered food from this Dennys and never had this reaction. My reaction was in no way caused by anything else but that meal, because as I already stated, that was the only food I had eaten all day!
I prefer for you to contact me by phone, or text. Actually, a call would be better.
After 3 p.m. p.s.t., is also a must.

User's recommendation: This particular Dennys, is on the cornner of University Ave. & Fairmount, San Diego, Ca 92105. I became extremely ill immediately after only eating 1/4,of my meal! I was nauseated and had back to back diarrhea bouts. I am very aware of proper food handling, sanitizing everything, etc. I know this because I am related to family members who own a restaurant.. i honestly feel that people need to be aware of my situation the other day. I may opt to never eat food from this Dennys. I saw on our local news the other day that presently there's an outbreak of Hepatitis A! Hepatitis A is mainly contracted from a food server, chef, etc., from a restaurant. It can be deadly, especially to anyone who has a threatened immunity system, (I happen to be in this group, as well as being a senior citizen), young children, babies, and pregnant women as well. I order food from restaurants frequently, due to my disabilities, and it just being myself. I have not gotten sick 1 time from any of these other restaurants. All things considered, right now I do not recommend anyone eating at this Dennys,(the corner of University Ave., & Fairmount. I'm not positive, but I feel that they need to be inspected asap by the Board of Health, of course the restaurant division.

My Wife and I went to the Denny's on Del Prado Blvd, Cape Coral FL this evening to dine.
We entered and stood at the front counter (where a sign stated "please wait here to be seated"
After 15 minutes we had to sit down ( my wife is handicapped) Finally the only person in sight (a young gentleman) said he would be with us shortly.
That never happened!! meanwhile the smoke alarm or fire alarm was constantly beeping (very unnerving!, while we were waiting we overhear a customer complaining about eggs that were served Cold!
It seems that you cannot manage to take care of your customers who come in to spend $$ at your restaurant .
This episode definitely turned us OFF!
We left at that point and picked up takeout at a local chinese restaurant

I just went and got two breakfast including 2 cinnamon pancakes x2 bacon ×2 hash brown x2 and eggs x2 & extra side of bacon. They gave us our food to go once we got home we pulled our food out both orders everything was COMPLETELY BURNT AND ROCK HARD.
HOW DO YOU EVEN BURN EGGS, PANCAKES, AND HASHBROWNS TO THE POINT THAT YOU LITERALLY CAN'T EVEN TAKE A BITE OUT OF IT.
THIS IS THE WORST FOOD IVE EVER HAD AND EVERYTHING IS BURNT COMPLETELY BLACK & CHARED. I've been calling the restaurant for almost 45 minutes they haven't picked up the phone once or got back to me and I have no desire to waste my gas again going there 30 minutes and back another 30 minutes x2 meaning 2 hours spent driving for nothing and I already spent $40 on this food for nothing.
I Would really just like a refund I do not plan on getting any more food at least not at this location

I'm 72 Y.O. on a fixed income. Now I can see why I was the only person in the restaurant, when Denny's used to be packed at this time of morning.
I can understand with the supply chain and prices going up, but this seems to be price gouging. I could have gone to GOLDEN CORAL and had a full breakfast buffet w/ free coffee for the same money...just sayin', now I know

After stopping at Denny on federal Blvd in Denver I was treated with total ignorance by your employee.

There customer services was unbelievable
I have been in the restaurant business for half my life and the way that we got treated was unacceptable we walk in the door we asked if we could sit in this section the host sad no cant do that Be right with you we stood there for another 10 mins him walking passed us I told him I can help you out we got a baby in are arms and he is getting heavy I said since you wont let us sit there how about that booth he said if you cant sit there and wait a min you can just leave I was shocked I wanted to leave but my daughter didnt it even got worse from that point on my grandson never got his food and neither did my daughter they charged us I was going to snap so my daughter and husband fought with them and they where not going to let them leave till they paid the whole bill I just said I am calling Lakewood police they can figure this out it took us 40 mins just to get a table and when we order we only got half the food I was done and over it by that time that whole crew you got up there are rude kids it wasnt just my family there where two other families tripping as well

The other customer motioned to the waiter, you did not. You got smart with him, and he has every right to refuse service.
I just feel sorry for the other three people dining with you. You embarrassed them. The fact that he backed down shows that is more mature and adult than he ever willl be.
I feel sorry for your friends for having to put up with you. Hopefully they do not call you out again
How feminine you act for being a man. You should be embarrassed of yourself.
It is one thing to embarrass yourself.. But his immature behavior embarrassed his friends as well.
You, people, are going to find out. This isn't back in the 80s when you peaked.
This is today when some people in the hospitality industry are on a hair tri gger. All it takes is someone like you who thinks they matter to pull the pin. I saw a video where a 60-year-old said the wrong thing and was body-slammed; an old guy said the wrong thing and was terminated.
Let's not forget cashiers and servers pulling G U N S on people. You're on borrowed time if this is how you act.
He has a point, if you don't like it LEAVE. It is not his fault they do not have enough staff.
He does not do the scheduling. You can get the manager's name later. Stop acting like a brat. An impatient one that is.
When you refused to leave, he should have called the police on you. You may act like a six-year-old child but you are not one. So you would have been arrested and faced adult consequences. The one that is acting like a thug is you.
He should have accepted your challenge to take it outside and put you in your place. In your 62 years I am sure this is the first time someone put you in your place.
